Directions:

By subway:

A) Take any train to Union Square/14St. Enter the Bus 14 going to the Lower Eastside (the line splits on 14th St - one line serves Ave A, the other Ave C/D). Exit on Ave A/7th St resp. Ave C/10th St and walk to Zum Schneider.

B) Take the F-Train to the Lower Eastside 2nd Ave stop, exit on 1st Ave, walk north to 7th Street (6 blocks), and then east crossing Ave's A and B until you reach Ave C. You can alternatively take the Bus 21 on Houston. - OR -

C) Take the Green or Yellow line to Astor Place/8th Street. Then walk straight east until you reach Ave C (long walk), or enter the Bus 8 on E8St and exit on Ave C/E10St, then walk south.

By bus:

A) Crosstown Bus 21 (W Houston St. to E29St) stops on Ave C near Zum Schneider. - OR -

B) Bus 9 (Union Square to Battery Park City) stops on Ave B (leave the bus around E7th St and walk east) - OR -

C) Crosstown Bus 14 (W18th St, then W14St to the Lower East Side) stops on Ave A or C/D (watch the sign on top of the bus' windscreen) - OR -

D) Crosstown Bus 8 (connects East and Westside along 8 and 9 St). Leave the bus on Ave C / E10St and walk south to E7St.
